The Controversy of John F. MacArthur and the Blood by the Late Jack Hyles’ Apologists

Years ago, I remembered still reading Jesus-is-Savior. I felt that the accusations done against the Hyles-Anderson College (which was founded by the late Jack Hyles, who turned out to be a reprobate) were just “manufactured by the Jesuits under the order of the Jesuit General”. An article written by that pervert David J. Stewart himself have been a reason why I had some issues with MacArthur himself. The track record of Hyles and his successors has been anything but satisfactory. In fact, Stewart himself was actually charged with sexual misconduct. Sexual misconduct has unfortunately been creeping into Baptist churches today.

Understanding More About the Doctrine of Limited Atonement as Next Week is Holy Week

It’s almost time for Holy Week. Saturday will be April Fool’s Day. April 2 will be Palm Sunday which is the beginning of Holy Week. Holy Week is associated with commemorating the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus on the cross. This doctrine of limited atonement has been very controversial. It can be like, “Did Jesus only die for those who would believe?” It has come to a point that some Fundamental Baptist preachers haven’t done much research on John Calvin. Some even said, “Maybe Calvin didn’t underline John 3:16.” I’m afraid that some of these Fundamental Baptist preachers haven’t done further research into other commentaries that would be deemed Calvinist. John Gill was a Reformed Baptist. The Commentary Critical and Explanatory of the Whole Bible was also written by Calvinists.

Jesus’ Shocking Revelation and Rebuke After Peter’s Confession

It’s very easy to talk about Peter’s confession. Peter confessed the identity of the Lord Jesus in full. Jesus soon gave Peter the assurance that ” You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church.” The GNT version adds, “You are a rock and upon this Rock.” It clearly says Peter can’t be the rock upon which the Church is built. Rather, Peter is told of the strong sure foundation. Peter was but a sinner saved by grace. Every righteous saint is also a repentant sinner. The keys are the preaching of the Gospel. Peter, as the first pastor of the New Testament, was given a tremendous responsibility. It seemed Peter was getting too excited. However, the Lord Jesus was going to burst their bubble with a truth that must be fulfilled.

Elisha and the Widow’s Oil

Before proceeding to write more about the kings of Judah, Elisha has to be a very important topic. We know Elijah was also involved in the lives of both Ahab and Jehoshaphat. Elijah would have probably written his condemning letter to Jehoram of Judah before the ascension took place. 2 Kings 4 contains two stories. One is that of the widow’s oil and that of the Shunnamite woman. 2 Kings 4:1-7 would be the focus. We would want to focus on yet another of the many signs God provides. Today, we don’t always get signs and wonders. Yet, there are times God would somehow provide some form of help (without the signs and wonders of the prophets) for the Church today.

Moab’s Rebellion Against the Northern Kingdom

After the death of Ahab, we have the Omride dynasty finally weakening. It seemed Ahab was a better military guy than his sons. Ahaziah of Israel died without children so Jehoram of Israel took over. Jehoram of Israel may have put away the pillar of Baal-Hammon. However, Jehoram of Israel still stuck through with the sinister calf worship which persisted for centuries even after Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, had passed away into eternal doom. We will now read 1 Kings 4 which narrates this incident of Moab going against Israel.

It’s the Great Commission, NOT the Great Conspiracy

Back then, I remember my Fundamental Baptist days would have so many conspiracy theories. I remembered the craze of raising pet issues such as Pokemon and Harry Potter. I remember the urban legend of backmasking. There were also the KJV Only movement conspiracy theories. There are sites like Jesus-is-Savior (which I used to read a lot for conspiracy theories and ended up doubting my salvation due to the easy-believism doctrine taught there), Chick Publications, Now the End Begins, Before It’s News, Reformation Online, and a lot more. There was a time I devoted to researching the Vatican rather than the Word of God. I would indulge in writing several nonsense conspiracy theories that I can’t even back up except with mostly spurious sources. It also turned out that Chick Publications was publishing fake testimonies such as that of the late Alberto R. Rivera Sr. It turns out that Jesus-is-Savior is backed up by blind followers of the late Jack F. Hyles, another reprobate.

Does Matthew 7:14-20 Only Apply to False Prophets as Easy Believism Proponents Would Suggest?

I once thought I was an easy believist until I decided to do more research about what lordship salvation is truly about. It’s often said that lordship salvation means you need to stop sinning to be saved, add faith to works, etc. Instead, lordship salvation is all about distinguishing the fake converts from the true ones. I decided to raise Matthew 7:14-20 to talk about the fruit and the root. The Antinomian said, “What? Now you’re fruit inspecting!” The Antinomian (and no surprise, a supporter of the late Jack Hyles who turned out to be a reprobate) had wildly fantastic claims such as “Calvinists are Jesuits.” His basis was that John Calvin went to the same school as Ignatius of Loyola. So, if I went to the same school as a certain terrorist, does that make me a terrorist? Very bad logic there!
