This Pride Month, Don’t Forget That Pride Kicked Satan Out of Heaven

wanted to do a bit of textual criticism this pride month. Interestingly, put the two words close to each other (pridemonth)–you get demon in between. Pride month tends to display one thing–man’s pride in their sinfulness. This reminds me of one person in the Bible–Satan himself. Satan himself was pretty much a victim of his own pride. Satan in Hebrew means adversary. Devil in Greek is diavolos from where we get the term diabolical. The Greek word is Satanas which is Satan’s name in other languages such as Tagalog and Spanish. Now, we must go to think about how Satan’s pride was pretty much there.
